Benin continues to demonstrate its commitment towards its Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), an UN-mandated non-governmental organization, recognized for its expertise and autonomy, closed out the inaugural year of its partnership with Benin with a country report. The benchmark report is a testament to Benin’s continued commitment to implementing its 2030 SDG Agenda, set in motion with an inaugural SDG Bond issue of July 2021.
This pilot report is the first to provide an independent analysis of the country’s SDG performance and trajectory in comparison to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), as well as its policies and progress.
